It should very well be capable of saving. It worked fine the last time I check it, which was a few months ago when I was cleaning out some old things to throw out. Since then it's just been sitting in my drawer.

lol. That is understandable. The game was originally released in 1998, but i purchased this one in 2001 i believe so it IS quite old.
