The listing, Mario Party 2 With Gin Option! has ended.
You are bidding on Mario Party 2 for the Nintendo 64. I have about 3 and the two I attempted to sell for 20 bucks did not succeed due to lack of gamers in my area :( My loss is your gain. The game functions well and when I get the time to take pictures of it in my n64, I will update the auction accordingly. I will send the game out within 7 days of the end of the auction with tracking!
Okay, lets shut down the argument right here right now. @itsthejae you got that MP2 for 2500 because people don't bid on listings with shipping fees, plain and simple. The bidders like you and I who are more than willing to pay the fees, are few and far between. Also, the game you got from me for 22k GIN was a really ratty label and slightly grimy cart. And that was a year ago, and at that time it WAS worth about $20-$25. But all un-common games and up have nearly doubled or tripled in value within the span of a couple of years. I wish I hadn't sold my Conker's Bad Fur Day 3 years ago for $40, since it's now worth $80 or more. As for pokemon games, I still buy them but DON'T resell them anymore. I don't want to feel the kick in the pants in 5 years when the value on them raises more. The value on rare games is raising at a rate faster than GOLD! See for yourself: http://videogames.pricecharting.com/game/nintendo-64/mario-party-2 That site shows how just a year or two ago this was averaging for $20-25. Now it's worth $35-$40. Considering cash is worth way more than credits, this should hit 50k no problem. Especially considering people got those credits by giving away games they didn't want. @yarkitty123 you are right, I list the best games :-) I'll be listing some NES games later today.
It's not a $20 game. I mean, sure, you could do some bargain hunting on ebay and maybe walk away with a $26-28 copy with a lot -- and I mean a lot -- of scouring -- but the going rate on Amazon starts at $40, and the completed listings on Ebay are generally $35 and up. I'm yet to see anyone bidding so far give more credits than the game is worth--but then, I'm sure that'll happen near the tail end of the auction, but right now, that isn't the case.
The Pokemon games have always been worth more than 10k. Yes, we all remember the good old days, but at the same time things can't stay the same forever--especially in an ever-growing, ever-changing marketplace. I, like you, am just glad I was able to get what I got while it was still possible. However, there's no use lamenting it now that the vision for the site is fully realized, people know more ways to get credits, and thus people are able/willing to spend more credits than before.
Plus, anyone who is smart knows they can get 40k credits for a lot less than people think, thus making the whole 'overpriced, paying more than the game is worth' argument null, nugatory and void. I'm personally just glad Listia gets any rare games at all.
For example, not too long ago pokemon game boy games would regularly go for 10k credits or a game boy advance system + pokemon game for 20k credits...id get tons of those on here and sell them on ebay for $25-75. Now pokemon games go for like 25k credits maybe more...can't make a profit on them anymore. Just like the economy, listia has seen inflation and prices have risen. Can't get many good deals on here anymore, few and far in between. Hell when I started off when listia first started I could get a $20 game for 2000 credits! I got tons of good and rare games off listia while the gettin was good. Now...bids are just ridiculous. Oh well.
It's not ridiculous. Listia had a lack of people so things were quite cheap in categories such as video games. Credits are balanced now with a hint of inflation. That's how it's supposed to be. You're not supposed to make that much profit because that's not what the site is about
I have enough to go with the GIN if was used, but that much one game is little too high for my taste. If it came with more than that, I would be all game. Too bad, I was going to go hard for this for my younger brother. Good luck to the winner!
yeah haha. The only reason i'm listing one is because of this http://www.listia.com/auction/19210929-nintendo-64-game-lot-your-choice-of-1 If only they knew the prices of the games before saying I could pick 3 lol XD
-_-" It's a $20 game. And listia bids have just got completely out of control these days. It's not that this is valued so its worth 40k+ credits, its just there are alot of people that want to give more credits than its worth because they desire the game so badly. *Shrug*
So it's not worth 20$ if people are willing to pay more than "20$ worth of credits" Look on eBay/amazon and see what this game goes for. I tried selling it for 20 because I get my profit at the end of the day and people can make their profit if they choose to sell it on eBay/amazon/craiglist/pawn shop ect. *sighs*
I predict that this game will go just over fifty thousand. The winner will be a man who was too poor to buy one when it was new, he stands over six foot tall, has a beautiful wife, his favorite flavor of ice cream is mint chocolate chip, and he is in serious need of a shave.
That's nice to hear. I get that a lot about the credits and cash. Well not everything is 1000 credits = 1$ on Listia. Just like the super smash bros 64 game that went for 71,000 credits and it's only worth about 40-45. It's demand, and if someone chooses to use the gin, it's there :) with that being said, I wish you the best of luck if you choose to bid on this auction =] thanks for stopping by friend
It can be double triple, all I'm saying it will get what it gets, someone my gin and it may not be utilized. It will be somewhat close and I won't have listia reaching in my goodies from the 40,000 you would've offered. I'm in no way dissing you and I may have explained my logic a tad wrong. :) it will get 40,000 and maybe beyond. Thanks again =]
I might GIN this one later--still on the fence as I'll probably stop at 46k, but it's a pretty rare game. I can't even remember the other Mario Parties besides this one.
At least it isn't the last world. Three star difficulty and the duels are pure luck :/ Rock Paper Scissors shoot.. No skill at all and I always lost my darn coins to the computer or my siblings >:(
