The listing, Pillow Shams has ended.

These are brand new. I got them with a comforter and never used them with it as I had others that worked with it, so these were put away and never went on a pillow.

Where the seam is they are 28x21" inches with a 2' inch border.

Pillow shams go on a pillow on your bed to make it look pretty. They match or compliment your bed cover.

they have zippers...or are they just pillow cases

No, they are not pillow cases. They are covers for pillows to make them match the bed spread. They are closed on the back by way of the fabric being sewed in such a way that it is overlapping. I will try to post a photo of the back so you can see what I mean.
