Sorry, I don't have much info. My husband traveled for work and bought jewelry from all over the country. He bought this about 6 years ago as a gift but it has never been used, been sitting in the jewelry box. He does remember speaking to the craftsman, but does not have the receipt. I do know that Wagon Wheel gifts is still open and has some very nice works from local craftsman.
Could be Sarah Chee ,but I can't see it well enough , any other marks near it?It's really worthwhile to get a clear shot of the marks even up to the last few hours before the end of the auction/ there are a lot of people who can recognize them if they can see better! Maybe you have a friend with a good camera? Try different angles too.Over 20 Native Americans have used the letter "S " it's quite specific what exactly the stamp looks like how it's cut, ect.
No it does not say s. There is a large capital E and underneath it sterling underlined. This was made by a man to my knowledge. That's what my husband remembers anyway, just doesn't remember his name, as I stated earlier. Sorry, that was the best picture I could get, I tried, believe me.
Well I posted some more pictures of the sterling mark. This is a hand made piece. The back is not completely smooth, so not sure if you can see it any better. If you are in doubt, don't bid
It could be Zuni , I have a Zuni ring listed now. This looks like coral and Turquoise matrix. What exactly does the stamp say? Do I see the letter "S" below it?
