What breed is yours?? I have two yorkies from different breeders and a year apart. My male weighs 12lbs and can wear a med or small depending on harness type. My female is a yr but is very petite(was the runt). Normally she can wear xs- s. But since her chest area is very petite she couldn't wear this one.

chiuahua, some small shirts fit and some medium, she is outgrowing her harness but not sure what size I need. Have had my other dog for over 4 years and he has a collar, so was easy. She is so small so the harness is safer than a collar. Got her in July and used the harness I originally bought for one of the cats.

Honestly she would do well in this xs. It seems to run a bit larger than most other harnesses that are xs. Hope this helps.
