The Widows Mite

Mark 12:41-44
And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.
And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.
And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:
For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.

Luke 21:1-4
And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.
And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.
And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:
For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.

Since Listia would rather have scammers overrunning the site rather than have me use the comment section for the history of my auctions, there will be no more history on any of my listings.

I will block anyone who asks "how much can I sell it for", or "do you have a certificate of authenticity"
I'm not listing these coins for the greedy to make a quick buck; these are for those who sincerely want a piece of ancient Christian history. A COA would cost me $65 from the Numismatic Guaranty corporation, so I used the Numismatic Beaureau to have them slabbed and catalogued.

To those of you genuine Listian's, thank you and happy bidding.

It's worth more saving it to pass down to your family members.
I think so anyway.

I agree, but I have no family. I guess I'm like CasaBlanca; a man without a country, or a cowboy without a horse..the unknown soldier? lol.
But I blocked that guy immediately and had to act positive.

Good morning everyone.
Due to the shutdown of Canada Post, I am unable to ship to Canada at this time.
I will resume shipping North of the border once the strike has been solved.
Thank you.

That's not fun for a cowboy to have a grumpy horse. That's nice that you keep him in Hebrew Nationals:)

And I can't fool him with the 49 cent turkey dogs eaither. He can smell whether they're pure beef or not.
