Description

The listing, Ancient Judean Coin - Biblical Widow's Mite (Lepton) - 103 - 76BC - 3 0f 3 (Last one) has ended.

These are authentic Judean coins minted between 103-76BC and circulated in Judea durind the time of Christ 50BC - 50AD.

The Widows Mite

Mark 12:41-44
And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.
And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.
And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:
For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.

Luke 21:1-4
And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.
And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.
And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:
For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.

Since Listia would rather have scammers overrunning the site rather than have me use the comment section for the history of my auctions, there will be no more history on any of my listings.

I will block anyone who asks "how much can I sell it for", or "do you have a certificate of authenticity"
I'm not listing these coins for the greedy to make a quick buck; these are for those who sincerely want a piece of ancient Christian history. A COA would cost me $65 from the Numismatic Guaranty corporation, so I used the Numismatic Beaureau to have them slabbed and catalogued.

To those of you genuine Listian's, thank you and happy bidding.

This will be my final historical listing due to Listia refusing to allow adding the history in comments, but check my auctions for other crap.

I got a really nice camera from a lister on here. It's small enough to fit in my pocket, but takes 10.2 megapixel images.

Would camels help?

Only if it takes a bath every three hours.
Don't let the Media fool you; camels are cute and all, but they have a natural stink worse than a gallon of milk that had been sitting out for a week, but smoked camel hump and gouda is delicious.
