This is a gorgeous highly polished piece of coffee and cream jasper, beautiful creamy center with darker brown on the edges - looks like a piece of candy. I'm not sure that is the official name of this stone, but that's what I was told it was. I got this specifically for a sterling frame but the stone was just a tiny bit the wrong size and even manipulating the silver didn't work. So I'm offering it here for the wire wrapping artisans because it would make a lovely focal piece wrapped in antique gold colored wire. A nice size stone and as I said, highly polished, The stone is 1 1/4 inches long and 1/2 inch wide. The backside is more cream than brown and of course I didn't get a picture of the backside...And my pictures stink of this stone because there was so much flashback. I should have enough time to try to photograph it in the daylight...
