This may be a really stupid question, but I've always been interested in these, but confused w/ how they work?! Do you just plug this in & stream free stuff, or do u use it as a way to stream stuff, but have to pay a monthly fee for usage?? Also, when u use this, can u get all those channels, or just whichever ones u subscribe to/pay for?? Thanks. Watching & Fanned ya! ;)

It's free no monthly fee for non premium stuff. Basically you connect the HDMI Chromcast to your TV then install the Software or App to your PC,Apple or Android Device and it turns your device into a remote to stream the content back to your TV.
For premium stuff like HBO you do need a subscription for it.
