Nezavisna Drzava Hrvatska, inscription on private triangular labels purportedly by/for/to support of the Croatian Government in Exile, which had no postal authority, as such.
These Croatian triangle stamps are part of a large set issued in 1952. They were printed in this form "imperforate" (no holes for separation); and also perforated ; and with values marked "kn" (Kuna), and without the "kn".
Printed with the base (hypotenuse) of the triangles abutted, the two stamps form a square. These were designed with the idea of selling them to collectors and that square made them quite handsome for collecting.
