The dog tail cactus is a type of plant that is also sometimes called Pitaya de Tortuga. Its scientific name is Selenicereus testudo. The plant consists of several thick stalks that taper at the ends to resemble a dog's tail. These stalks have many spines on them and they can grow up to 10 inches tall. White flowers bloom on the dog tail cactus from mid summer to the early fall. Like many other cacti, the plant is simple to care for.

You will be receiving the two starts in picture 2. Picture 1 is an example of what the plant will look like once it grows. They will be sent in the container they are in, and padded to make a safe trip to your home. At this point they are about 4" in length.

Will u be posting any more plant auctions?i want to get a piece so I can start having indoor plants that will help produce more oxygen inside or home.Which I heard they do & supposily help ur home air to be cleaner.Is that true.What are the best indoor plant to get?I live in a mobile home so I have few windows& area to put plants especially with a 10 month old crawling around & a 5 ur old run'n & knocking stuff down,lol.But you seem 2 know ur plants so I'd love 2 get ur advice & a couple startup pieces in containers 2 start my indoor plant life up.Thanks for everything Hun!

Yes, I will definitely be listing more plants. The philodendron and pothos plants seem to do well in low light for me, and reproduce easily :)
