Hi, it is 18 inches long & the closure is a pull back hook into a circle. (so when you release the lever it closes) It is one of the regular types of closures. Thanks!

They are supposed to be real Lapis Lazuli, but I do not have a way of knowing for sure unless I break them open, lol. So I can only go by the description when I ordered them, it said they were Lapis Lazuli. Thanks!
