***Oh my Goodness!!! I'm soo not impressed right now! I just came back from my local post office & yes, they've changed their position on the strike/ lockout since Saturday! I'm soo disappointed in that system... Soooo what do I do now fellow Listians?! According to my local post office they are NOT permitted to accept ANY letters, packages...basically any kind of mail!!! I'm sooo sorry everybody, I had no idea things got this bad! All I can do after this auction is over, is hold onto it until the strike is over?! I could look into shipping with Purolator, but since I work nights it may be difficult as you are suppose to be wake to deal with the exchange! Any suggestions?! Again...sorry from the bottom of my heart! I'll listen to any ideas! :)

Thats too bad... You can just return credits if you need to when this over by clickiing return credits...Im sure nobody would be upset...its obiously not your fault! I would still bid on you in the future after the strike is over,,,,, wish I had some better advice. Cheerio...and no worries!

Perhaps I'll leave it all to the winner... If I can figure out a way to courrier it out, maybe that could be an option, but I'm not sure if I could do it for free tho... Let's think positively, the strike/ lockout will be over before this auction! :)

Canadians bidding are stuck in the same boat, so it def won't be a big deal if they win. I'm waiting on quite a few auctions to mail to me after the strike ends. Also, the gov't looks to be introducing back to work legislation soon, so the strike shouldn't be on for that much longer (fingers crossed!!). I Fedex'd a parcel to a winner right after the strike because I wasn't sure how long it was going to last, and was totally unimpressed with the prices!!

Yea, the gov't can step in & demand that Air Canada goes back to work after only about 1/2 a day of a strike, but when Canada Post goes on strike they do nothing right away?! Sorry, but I believe that the postal strike effects more people than the Air Canada strike (I'm not trying to take away from that issue, as they had good reasons for the strike), soo what gives?! I'm definitely NOT impressed! Let's hope it really is over soon!

If the auction ends & you CAN'T send-out the gift cards, can winner choose to have the same amount funded from you to winner thru PayPal?? Then winner can just get the gift cards on their end??
...Or could you purchase the gift cards via their online websites & have them shipped directly from their website??

I can do the PayPal "version", no problem, but unfortunately, I can't do the online way because, I believe that I would need a credit card to do so & I cut my cards up just after Christmas so that I could get my finances "under control"... Sorry! :(

Hi, I'm here to show my support also. Wish I could bid on this, it's a fantastic auction but since our postal strike/lockout I haven't been listing any auctions so I don't have enough credits right now. Where in Canada are you cuz I was talking to post office the other day & they told me that the strike/ lockout will effect various parts of the country differently! I'm in Ontario & she told me that we will still be getting & shipping mail, but it'll definitely be slowed down! It is a pain it the butt tho... I was very concerned about it due to this auction & winning auctions & such...

*** UPDATE*** I've discovered that I am NOT able to purchase Gift Cards on Amazon.com WITHOUT using a credit card soo unfortunately, that is NOT an option for this auction! I can still make a payment to the winners' PayPal account so they can purchase their own gift cards of choice or I can buy the desired Gift Cards & email/ message the codes to the winner so they can use ASAP.
I'm very sorry for the inconvenience that the postal strike has caused! Hopefully for my next auction, the strike will be over!

Normally id try to post several auctions, to build up credits quickly, so that I could bid.. But finances have been strainfully (sp?) tight these past few weeks, and since I always offer free shipping, I am unable to post for a few weeks (omg I'm having withdrawals too! Lol)...
