Use a xp disk to format it!!! dont wipe it wipe the mbr it becomes junk

You can use FDISK on a PC to rebuild a new MBR. The drive is securely formatted which does leave partition info intact. Wiping it does not affect useability.

lol Have you ever heard of a program called FDISK? It will partition the drive however you want it. If you have "junk" drives that have wiped MBR's they can be fixed in seconds. Also, the drive has been secure erased, leaving partition info intact.
