The string is new and came with the book, which is in mint condition and there's nothing wrong with it.In the book, there's 32 descriptive,colorful pages teaching how to braid your hair or make friendship bracelets (image3 is an example of this). I don't know how long each spool of yarn is but it's definitely enough to make at least one friendship bracelet if not more! If you have any questions let me know!
