The listing, 2 "FLAPPER" 1920s SHEET MUSIC-GREATSOUNDS OF "THE JAZZ AGE"!! has ended.
That Certain Party- 1925 -a big hit in the day--no wonder, what a cute ,jazzj jingley tune! Many decades ago it had some clear tape added to the outer spine so it wouldn't separate. The sheet still looks good tho--and you certainly can display it in your collection altho it does show siges of aging probably played quite a bit. Very popular tune!!LISTEN TO LOUIS ARMSTRONGS JAZZ VERSION, 1930 ON YOUTUBE!!!!! KNOCK YOURSELF OUT!
SWEETHEARTS ON PARADE, 1928. Carman Lombardo wrote this--and it too became a big hit! Again a real good jaz ztune--and condition real good with some easily removed staples (3) in spine , again to keep the music intact. These pop pieces were played and enjoyed--every home had a piano back in 1928--people gathered to sing and dance. Rudy Valentino had just passed away and the "flappers" drowned their sorrows in dance, Black Bottom , Shiimmy and Charleston) and in jazz songs like these.
