Hi! It is electric...old cord. Not sure if always electric or changed into. I am sorry. I do know that it has been in my family since before 1950, maybe earlier? I hope that helps.

Everyone its so hard with Usps because they even measure the height/weight/and where the box is going to determine price. I quote the usps priority box price, and if I can pack my own box and send it cheaper I do, and give refund back to you. Thanks for looking, bidding,

Two and half feet tall by guesstemation and at the widest of the hurricane glass lamp part around 8 inches I will clarify this when I measure it and get back to you in update. I am in a wheelchair and no one is here to measure for me right now.

It was in our home when I was 5 and I am 50. I know it belonged to my Grandmother...that is all I can say about it.

I so apologize for the error up above on bonus .. I sold the Norman Rockwell Kennedy on ebay. Nixon is just as collectible though, due to Watergate.

I love this, my mother used to have a few of these, of course my greedy brother moved in with my dad, after she passed away, and dad was now dying. So he helped himself to whatever he wanted while my dad was on his death bed. So I would love to own this! I ship a lot that would fit nicely in USPS box 12x8x8 Priority mail. But how much does it weigh is the question. So I can't say it would be cheaper but my items it usually is. I would look on eBay for a scale you can get one cheap and they come in so handy! you could even use a regular scale to get a ball park on the weight. Anyway I am at my limit again with Listia on fanning, but I will when I can but for now I am watching and bidding! ◕‿◕
