The listing, The Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage Book II has ended.
When we last saw Abraham of Worms, he was gearing up to expound upon the Sacred Magic to his younger and possibly slacking son, Lamech. The book, supposedly written in 1458, is broken into three parts, with the first being an account of Abraham’s obtaining of the magic from Abramelin. He begins with the phrase:
I will then make every effort to avoid and to fly prolixity of words in this first book…
As a rule, if you have to say that, you've already lost. This is certainly true of Abraham, who then goes to great lengths to tell us about his travels as a youth in search of sacred knowledge.
After the death of his father, Abraham began his search in Mainz. There he studies under a Rabbi Moses, who teaches him some basic secrets of magic that leave him unsatisfied. Abraham travels on, meeting a wide variety of characters. One of them, a young man named Antony, manifests great spiritual power that he has obtained through a pact with Leviathan. As such pacts usually go, it ends badly, with his tongueless head ending up in a gutter. Sent by email digital eSpellbook. within 24 hrs.
