I am a Listian AND an eBayer. I buy almost all of the things I sell at estate auctions. These were part of a "table lot" (in other words, a lot of miscellaneous stuff) I bought. Thank you for commenting :-)

Yes, I do come across cool stuff. I would encourage anyone to find a local auction house and check it out. Everyone is very welcome. You can get some great deals for selling or for yourself. Try to find an "absolute" auction. They are by far the most fun. If an item does not sell, at an absolute auction, it will go down to a dollar. There are no "reserves". I have seen a piano, a nice dining room table, many things sell for a dollar. Also, you don't have to bid on a thing if you don't want to. It's fun.

Find one and go. Auctions are typically on Friday evenings and Saturdays, either afternoon or evening.

I've got to start going to auctions again. We used to go when we lived in the town they had them in. Since we moved we haven't gone. I sure miss it!
