Sharon, thank you for your question.I should have explained the photos. The 1st is the front, 2nd how they come apart and the magnets used, and the 3rd is the back of the butterflies.

So they are for windows not the refrigerator? F/W

Thank you laciekea for your question. I suppose you could separate them and use them on a refrigerator. Each butterfly splits into 2 pieces and there is a magnet on each of the halves. I guess it all depends on the person creative ideas on how to use them.
