This is what used to be referred to as a 'dinner ring', which simply means it was a fancy ring that usually was worn to enhance a lovely evening dress.It is a gold toned ring, which I believe is a size 9 (according to an online measuring guide), and is oval in shape with intricate spotted, half circle designs encircling a triangular grouping of 9 marquis shaped crystals.
The ring itself measures 1 1/4" in length and 3/4" in width. This would be 'as pictured' in the photos above. There is no marking indicating a precious metal base.
