Update: Someone fairly reputable just told me this MAY be authentic turquoise. Just relaying info. I cannot guarantee this as I haven't worn turquoise in years and I can't remember the "feel" or texture well enough to give an educated guess!

Purchased in Afghanistan from a local market.
CHUNKY Trendy Turquoise Bauble Ring (I ASSUME it is faux because of the flat cut on underside and the quality of some other pieces the stall owner was selling)
Smooth,pretty "stone" is Oval-shaped with realistic turquoise "inclusions". Flat underside.
3/8" x 5/8"
Beautiful, raised 4-point setting. Approx 1/4"-3/8" in height from finger.
APPROXIMATELY A SIZE 6 ( I used an app on my phone as well as tape measure to compare sizes. 6 is the closest. My ring finger is a 5.5/6 and it fits me) As it was purchased abroad I can't be certain on size but the ring has a 5/8" diameter.

As this ring only fits on my ring finger that I wear my wedding ring on (my other ring finger was broken and has a permanently enlarged joint), O have no need for it. It IS sentimental to me as my mother bought it while we were in Kabul, Afghanistan a few years back while she worked inside the embassy. I'd like it to have a good home where it is cherished.
