handmade by me,stuffed with 100% organic catnip from our country garden.this is a lot bigger than the other ones I've made in the past,i wanted to see how well this one does,then i'll sew some long ones like the kicker sticks.

The store bought ones don't seem to ever interest my cat.

thank you,our cat loves hers,she goes bonkers over it. :-) yep,store stuff isn't as potent or pure,so home grown is 100 x better.i shared a lot from last years batch,and it went over very well.

I make them and put them in plastic bags, I saved one for our mama cat,i finally just gave it to her yesterday,she went nuts,so,the answer is yes,just keep it in the bag til you gift it. :-) we also dry peppermint leaves from our garden,and lavender too,everything keeps fine in ziplock bags. good question dear,thanks for asking. :-)

I think the peppermint and lavender is really great for even people who don't have cats. Will this catnip work on older cats and if so will they be all over the house acting crazy? Asking because the owner is in her 70's and she barely can keep up with the basics of feeding and cleaning up behind them, being disabled.
