The difference between a pentacle and pentagram is not whether the point is up or down a pentacle is the star without the circle around it and a pentagram is the pentacle with the circle around it! It is still a pentagram even if the point is down! Have a good day!

Fanned and watching. I found the following information in aWiccian reference book. I have been wearing a 5 star point up medal for years and wanted to make sure I was wearing the right one for me. "The physical differences between the pentacle and pentagram are minimal. Pentacles are up-right five-pointed stars within a circle, pentagrams often have the point facing down. Within the occult, they supposedly have opposite spiritual properties. From a Christian viewpoint, however, both symbols represent forces that oppose Biblical truth."

What is the difference between "may" and "met" your pentacle says may but I can only find the saying with "met" is it just the way you pronounce it or is there a difference?
