The listing, MILITARY MEDAL GOOD CONDUCT has ended.

MILITARY MEDAL GOOD CONDUCT: this was my dads who is now past away a few years to agent orange. I really have no place for it and know there are those who would honor the medal more then me. Do not get me wrong no man can honor the time my father served more then I. Yet items are just that to me Items. Rest in peace LGT Delbert L Goben United States Navy {stingray 1}

This medal is the Air Force Good Conduct Medal. In the Air Force LTG stands for Lieutenant general. He may have got the letters mixed up. Also Stinger 1 could be a nickname.

If you Google his fathers name, you will find his obit. In the obit it says he served in both the Navy and the Air Force. I have seen nothing about any of these auctions that lead me to believe Chris is trying to deceive anyone. All the facts I have seen so far lead me to believe these are legit medals. as for the Rank Chris simply got the letter mixed up his father is LTJG Delbert L "Bert" Goben

FYI, the navy good conduct medal is solid burgundy on the ribbon. This is indeed a usaf good conduct medal. Not doubting your father's service but just wanted to add the info.

Thanks for sharing that about your dad. Very cool. I was usaf but my job allowed me to work with all branches (except coast guard) so I b got to learn a bunch about the different uniforms.
