Simply clamp the unit over your existing rearview mirror, pair it to your phone and you are ready to go and start using it in your vehicle. This is perfect for an older vehicle or even a newer vehicle that is not equipped with bluetooth feature. Strong functionality, convenient and ideal for short or long haul driving. Bluetooth specification: 2.0, USB software framework support, full duplex, noise and echo suppression, dsp technology, enjoyment of using your car speakers by 4 available frequency settings or use of the built-in rear speaker on the rearview mirror itself, and an integrated wireless earpiece for private conversations. Rearview mirror comes inside the original factory box with a wired microphone with shirt clip, rearview does have a built-in microphone, so wired microphone is optional to use. Rearview has been tested and the caller id screen does not show any text, not sure what it is wrong with it. Everything else still works except for the caller id display screen. The box contains no instructions or DC car charging adapter.

I knew I forgot to take a picture of the back of the mirror to show the universal mount that connects to virtually any stock rearview mirror. It says it is universal and will clamp over any existing rear view mirror. So you shouldn't have any issue.

Yes, you just can't read the screen and see or read who is calling, etc

There really isn't any setting to work, the screen is only for caller id.
