I just picked this up at a garage sale. It's a Mini $20 Saint-Gaudens Gold Coin Replica. I have done a few hours worth or research on this and have turned up a few interesting facts. For one, this may have been struck as late as 1979 and offered in 1980-81. I found an actual ad for it in Popular Mechanics in a Nov. 81' issue I believe.

The coin is taped on both sides to the card. I did not tape it myself. It just came that way. Also, you can see that the card has some wear and creases. I think this was more of a novelty, but people still collect these. It's also rare to see them attached to the card. The coin isn't pure gold. It was electroplated with 24k gold. So there is that.
