The listing, Baby Angel Collectible Keepsake (painted w/ reborn doll paints) has ended.

I made this baby Angel out of clay then baked it in an oven, painted it with reborn paints and added the wings and halo last. This baby has very fine details including blushing and creases. It measures only 2 1/2 inches long. It takes a lot of time to make one of these. I love to make reborn baby dolls but I thought I would like to try making clay babies. I tried to add lots of picts. so you can see all around the baby.

Please feel free to ask questions and please read listing before you bid. This was made in a smoke free home and will be shipped fast. I am having chemo right now so I will try to ship in 1-2 days. I ship the baby very safe (wrapped in a foam sheet, placed in a 4x4x4 brand new box, sealed shut, then placed in a waterproof shipping bag)

It takes me 3 hours start to finish to make 1. If you rush these you will ruin it. You need a lot of patients, a steady hand, love of babies and dolls, the right tools and supplies to make these. You paint these the same way as reborn dolls so you will need special heat set doll paints, living doll baby clay, and an oven never used for food (or it makes the clay smell like food). You will also need special heat set reborn doll paints that are so thin it looks like colored water. You will also need reborn paint brushes, sponges and supplies along with special clay tools used to make dolls. Each layer will make a very thin transparent tint so you will need to paint, let dry , bake 8 min., cool 10 min, and repeat these steps about 8x to build the layers. Most of the wings I use come from Ireland because they have the best quality and designs.
