The listing, International Collectors Library Books (PICK FOUR) has ended.

These are beautiful books in good condition with some dings at the bottoms of 3 spines. Two have very small surface tears at the spine bottom and one has a small tear which could be glued down. I don't do repairs, even minor ones, as some book collectors don't appreciate it and would rather keep the books as they are, or handle the dings themselves. The titles are alphabetically as follows (CHOOSE FOUR).

The Forsyte Saga by John Galsworthy
Great Expectations by Charles Dickens
Ivanhoe by Sir Walter Scott
John Brown's Body by Stephen Vincent Benet
Moll Flanders by Daniel Defoe
The Pickwick Papers by Charles Dickens
A Treasury of Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle and
Vanity Fair by William Makepeace Thackery
At least 6 of the books have their original accompanying pamphlets which describe the type of binding and gives an overview of the book. All books have silk book ribbons and 7 have gold-edged page tops. Great decorator item or gift for an interested party.

GIN gift is an antique mystery book; and the note in front is dated 1897.

Sorry for the high amounts asked on this auction, but postage is going to be very expensive even using Media Mail as the books are very heavy.

Not weird at all. They are approximately 8 1/4" tall, 5 1/2" wide, and, of course, wider or narrower on the edges according to the page

Yes, I will add a couple more pix tomorrow afternoon. The damage at the bottoms is not bad and I think it comes from folks removing books from the shelves incorrectly; however, they were like this when we purchased them. Thanks so much for your interest.

I have added the second picture. The books are in their box as I have no room to display them. The three books upright on the right are the ones mentioned. The two on the right have very small surface pieces missing from the spine bottoms. The third one from the extreme right has a small piece pulled out that could be reglued. Hope this helps.

International Collectors Library Books (PICK FOUR) is in the Books | Fiction Books category
