2 note lot of old Japanese WWII occupation notes.

#1 - This is a 50 SEN Military note from either 1939 or 1940 in occupied China. This note is in VERY used condition. There is a white splotch on the back, no clue what it is from. The obverse has a depiction of a 5 toed dragon which symbolized Japan's power. Again, this note should be handled with care!

#2 is a crisp One Dollar note issued by Imperial Japan during the Japanese occupation of Singapore, Malaya, North Borneo, Sarawak, and Brunei between 1942 and 1945. The currency was also referred informally (and with more than a trace of contempt) as banana money. Couple pieces of tape and slice at top of note, but it is very crisp.
