Description

The listing, 1907's RARE ROCK LP SILVER BY TRANQUILITY has ended.

If you were around in the 70s, you probably remember this lp. The group only produced 2 albums. The sound was somewhere between Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, and Pink Floyd. Heavenly harmonies and some crazy guitar. I wouldn't be giving this one up if I didn't already have a copy.

album condition: very good, jacket, good to very good.

Shipping will be free if it goes to 1200.

I do take paypal, I DON'T SHIP INTERNATIONAL.

LOL ....Thanks Hon, I needed a good laugh, especially after....well, you probably read it.... I mean really....The market value of the album is 6 bucks or more on Ebay, and then I'm supposed to toss out 4 bucks more for shipping according to fds and take a chance of having gotten a hundred credits, period, for 10 bucks in product/shipping plus box/materials/ink/time. And when I go to spend it, I can't even get a run-of-the-mill used dvd that I could buy for .75 on half.com shipped free for a hundred credits. ;( Sorry for the rant.....but I do feel better :)

Yeah, I had that happen with a couple of items that went cheap. The winners were never heard from again. I guess you risk that behavior with any situation other than buy-it-now sales.....and with them, you run the risk of the very rare, but always painful credit card chargeback.....It cost me 18 bucks once to NOT sell a woman a pocketbook....because she didn't go pick it up at the post office when they sent her notices. She wrote me 2 hilarious emails just before I got hammered. First, that they should just leave it in her yard, she had plenty of room....okkaaaayyy.... and second, that I...ME...I should call her post office and tell them this has happened before. When I responded that her post office couldn't care less what I would have to say, and it was her job to contact them, that's when she called her credit card company and initiated a chargeback. Paypal, a company owned by Ebay, didn't give a crap that I did MY job. I got charged back for the purse, plus and 18.00 chargeback fee. Boy, who put a dime in ME?

fds, as listia states, this site is for "free stuff", not free stuff, shipped free, at generous seller's expense. I totally agree with BearlyArt, it doesn't make sense to lose out on shipping for a couple of credits. If that's the way you want to do things on your listings, great for you, you're awesome, but leave it alone. Tons of people ask for shipping costs on listia just to eliminate costs and keep it FREE, and I myself don't mind paying a couple of bucks to ship a free item! She hasn't been rude to you, but you sure sound like a gem. You want free stuff shipped free I recommend you settle for the free address labels charities send in the mail and call it a day. No CD for you! Yes, this does bring back Soup Nazi memories :P

Here's the thing. I spent over a hundred dollars out of pocket shipping stuff the week before last, and guess what I got charged when I went to use my credits? Shipping. So I'm hemmorrhaging cash at both ends.
So I have to start being smarter about shipping. I don't mind doing it if it's worth it point wise...hence the free ship at 1200. If you want to make a specific offer, more specific than "Ill bid really high" then I can determine if I think it's worth it, because I'm not spending 4 dollars for a hundred credits. I didn't just come up with this idea. I have seen it done in tons of auctions here....and it totally makes sense.

This is for free auctions for points and not money wise if you want the points you gotta take the risk and listia has been e-mail about your rude answers

Yes, I'm sure they will be taken aback.
Personally, I think it was more rude of YOU to try to tell me how I need to run my auctions. Who do you think you are bullying people around like that? Maybe you should take a look at some auctions before you go shooting your mouth off.

So are you writing EVERYONE who charges shipping and giving them a bunch of crap about it, or just people whose items you want? Cause if you are involved in the former, you're going to be doing a LOT of writing.....especially the jerk who has an 8 dollar shipping charge for one dvd, I bet you're REALLY gonna let him have it, right?
As for me, I can live without your bid. Darken someone else's auction.

Oh, and then there are the RULES....Does Listia say I can charge shipping?
Why, YES, yes, they do.
Maybe you skimmed over that part.
Why is it I can't think of anything else but the Seinfeld episode with the soup nazi right now?

if it goes for 1200, I'll ship free. But let me ask you, how can you bid high if nobody is bidding against you? There must be a trick to it, because a girl did it on one of my movies to hit the free shipping. I don't know how she did it.
