The listing, HP Business Inkjet 2800 printer - used has ended.

We're cleaning out the garage before it gets too hot and this printer has been sitting in the garage for years. Rather dusty but still works. Handles specialty paper at sizes up to 13 by 19 inches with speed and accuracy. Retails for $1000 NEW and the cheapest used one online I found is $450 but I want it out of my garage so I'm listing this baby on here to see what happens.

I believe so. You'd have to downlaod the drivers from HP's site so you might want to check to see if they have drivers for your Compaq PC first.
