The listing, Lot 2 Vintage African American Bisque Porcelain Jointed Dolls - Made in Japan Circa 1890-1920 has ended.

Lot of 2

African American jointed dolls. I thought these were wood but after research, they appear to be bisque porcelain. One is attached to the red/white thingy and my first impression was that it was a pin cushion. Not sure exactly what they call it or what its supposed to be. Both appear to be in okay good condition....with all joints attached but do have some wear throughout. Both have the Japan markings on the back. Supposedly.....circa 1890-1920.

Yes, there is a line that goes around the whole neck. Don't know if it was intended to be like that when they made it. I don't see any other cracks....just the loose joints and a worn spot by the arm. I will take some more photos, in different angles..this way you can determine the condition and the quality.
