This is a vintage hair catcher from Japan. I only have one picture because my computer shuts down if I try and hook my camera to it.

Questions & Comments

They would use the catcher to save the hair to make hair pieces later.
During the Victorian era they would display a piece of hair for person they were mourning in a clear locket or use the hair to make jewelry, such as bracelets and other things as well.
