This is a Ronson Wedgewood "Ulysses" blue and white Jasperware Lighter from the 1950's or 60's I'd say .It is stamped Wedgwood,Made in England with the letter V and two other symbols I don't recognize. t is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks anywhere. The only thing I noticed is a piece out of the gasket, but gasket is still intact.I cannot send it with fuel or flint (Postal issues) so to get the fuel and Flint you can find them at any smoke shop or even grocer stores may have them(CVS or Walgreens probably do .).Wedgwood began in 1759 with Josiah Wedgwood for more on the company history here is the link http://www.wedgwood.com/history . This blue and white design is probably the most famous and popular and what made them so successful! (Like a cameo!) and of course Ronson too , is one of the most famous(if not the most!) maker's of lighters! So combined this is a guaranteed good bet for the finest high quality lighter!(And great looking, too!) Fantastic gift for anyone who collects Wedgwood or lighters!
