@luna69 -- no, the 320GB model was not PS2 compatible. Only the original 20 and 60 GB models (A01 and B01) and the first 80 GB (E01) could play PS2 games.
@everybody else asking what's wrong -- there are several issues that can cause YLOD (light flashes yellow briefly, then red) or RLOD (red flashing light). Some are easy to fix, others aren't. I buy broken PS3's to fix as a hobby/side business, and on a description like this I'd estimate 60%-70% chance I could fix it. Your mileage may vary ;-)
