can you load it with windows 8.1? I have a shuffle that can't be loaded anymore since I don't have xp. Does it have an sd slot?

to be honest I don't know anything about putting music on these things. I have never did it. ... It does have a Micro Sd slot on it

Yes I do believe it can be used as a voice recorder. Atleast it says voice record.
