Most people had never played FF3 in English for the many many years that FFIV was available in the U.S. So even after I finally got the chance to play FF3 on DS (and not just a game incorrectly labelled as 3), it still didn't change my opinion - or the general consensus rather - that part 4 is one of the best FF's. In fact, for me it's a toss up between IV, VI, and IX.

Kain Highwind is part of what makes FF4 so special.
