Brand new in package two piece thermal top and bottom size large

I bought 2 of these off the clearance rack opened one package and it did not fit (the person I bought them for)

Also I believe they were on clearance because the package was opened because the package is stapled closed when I bought it! And I also believe they are slighty irregular so they probably are more like a small or medium depending on your build probably could fit a young tween/teen.
