Oh this is way awesome. Very creative and would be a perfect kids craft. You should do a how to listing with instructions for these type of things, bet you'd get a great response.
I am not really any good with that, I don't know what to do until I am inspired. And this is a one of a kind...I don't know where to get the hanging piece. It was an unusual piece from another item that could not be repurposed.
Lol the hanging piece can be handmade with wood. Doesn't have to be ceramic. And yes this is one of a kind. I'm definitely watching. You could do spiders with the bottle caps and pipe cleaners too. But they sell Halloween stuff like that (talking about small hanging pieces) now at all craft stores and even Walmart has things to use. You could give instructions on how it was made then when it comes to hanging pieces say they add what they want there cause not all states will have the same thing but can purchase stuff in the Halloween section. Just a thought. I'm going to help my son do a spider one for his teachers (his 2 main ones that is) cause he always does goodie bags for kids and something handmade for the teachers. Another thing you can use is old earrings where the hook or other backing has fallen off but the other is great shape. I do that for Christmas earrings, I use those mini tree ornaments to make unique gifts.
Oh ok I didn't think of the wood...I have some little balsa wood shapes, could paint them then write happy halloween then seal it so it won't ruin if it gets wet. Good idea thank you.I could put together a kit in a bag w/instructions that might work too. You are very helpful...Thank you.
