Apparently there are some individuals (non-legitimate accounts) who are bidding or posting items and are not responding once the auction is over. You either lose credits or have to re-list your auction. Then the other scam I heard about are the ones who claim they have sent the item you won in the mail or CC for shipping fees they've won with the excuse that it was lost in the mail and are requesting you to pay them back or they'll post a negative feedback. Pretty juvenile but I'm not taking any chances.

yeah thats whats been happening 2 me i bid on stuff but then they won't ship it 2 me or they say they did n leave me hanging.I'm sorry but i feel like if you don't really want 2 get rid of it then don't,but don't auction it off n somebody wins the auction n they don't get what they won thats whats been making me upset.

EXACTLY! It's a lot of scams and I know that Listia can't do everything to protect you from them but that's why I don't ship international anymore. A lot of the "shipping" scams were coming from outside the US, at least that's what it was for me. There are so many scams now and people are scamming just to get credits or if they can't outbid they flag your auction. Listia is becoming a headache.

i hate that 3 people have flaked on me and i mess up when i post an auction and codes dont work i cannot afford shipping prices so i just send codes but when they dont work i feel awful and automatically give back the credits and would NEVER scam and hate it when people do it to me i wanna cry because half the time i really wanted that item!!!!
