Another cool listing......from a Red State as well, right. I guess they have not destroyed all their Beatles paraphenalia (sp?) yet. Perhaps things have changed in the South since John suggested that The Beatles were more popular than Jesus.

Really, lol. We are from western NY, lol... Listing these beautiful Beatle's items brought me to tears, thinking back to my first experience with them at 10 years old. They were such a huge part of Joe's and mine life. We can only hope that the things we collect will be enjoyable to people like you. Since there are only 2 Beatle's left now, and it was so sad to really have to look at that, while I was looking at these beautiful pictures of them. My favorite era was Early, and Joe's is more later. I love them any time, but most special when they first became The Beatles.

I am with you both as far as a favorite era goes. Their evolution was not unlike our own journey.....evolving into what we will eventually be.... They were no more talented at the beginning than when they ended, and separated (as that, too, was part of their individual journeys). They did become, however, more SKILLED. For rare talent, you can't beat (pun intended) the Early Beatles. That;s why I go for that rock and roll music, any old way you choose it. It's gpt a back beat, you can't blues it, any old time you use it. Gotta be Rock n Roll Music, if you wanna dance with me. I am quite partial to Rubber Soul and Revolver (Elenore Rigby, Tax Man, Drive My Car, Norweigen Wood, In My Life, Got to get you into my life). Lyrical geniuses, all!
Though at the time of the break-up, I admit to being distressed, I now see how it was not unlike what we all go through in adolesents. . . that inevidible establishing of our own identity outside the place where we were nurtured.
I'd have to say, I think the kids did all right.
