I believe its silver plated or silver tone. not stampted, however i have one ive had for 5 years now and they last. i think they are sprayed with everclear.it protects the ring and keeps it from changing longer than a regular silvertone or plated ring would.

And the stone sparkles brighter than a diamond and reflect some color in it when light hits it. it would diff. catch someones attention from across the room. mine has many times :)
