Vintage Royal China Currier & Ives blue dinner plate. Small manufacturing flaw near edge--see photos--that was original to the production process. Otherwise very good, pre-owned condition with no cracks.

Beautiful plate. I love them. My Mother had them while I was growing up and I still have them. It bothers me that no one these days can relate to what a treasured piece this is…..good luck. I took it to a dirty Santa one Xmas and my sister-in-law through it in the yard sale stuff. I knew her aunt wanted it so I told my sis to trade with her who had already threw it on her yard sale pile and said it. At least she found it and traded it to our Aunt for a CD for her bratty grandchild. Some people.

I had two grandmothers who each owned sets of these. I've started gathering them in a random collection, and I'm offering this one just to see how they do on this kind of auction. The Currier & Ives Royal China pattern was very popular when new, and I'm finding there are many people with fond memories of these dishes.
