Typo, I meant Good Luck! And to anyone bidding, Pikake is the Hawaiian name for jasmine sambuc. I have this one by Terranova. It is a soliflore which is lovely for layering with other perfumes.

How are Mary Kay scents? About on par with Avon? I am thinking of selling Avon just to make. Few bucks and tonight I saw the contact info for the main Mary Kay distributor in my area... Whaddya think about it?

I've always preferred the quality of MK scents over Avon. Many MK scents have a tendency to appreciate in value. There are some discontinued MK scents that sell on eBay at 2 to 4 times retail value. Some even more. Same goes for there color cosmetics.

Thank you! That is very interesting... I wore Avon Foxfire at my wedding 30 years ago and I saw it here on Listia and was shocked!! I didn't know that there was such a thing as vintage perfumes. I always thought they all had gone bad or were used up long ago, so I looked on EBay, and sure enough, there was a ton of Foxfire averaging $25 each. I bought credits to win that listing cuz, I had to have it... It was the first thing I won here!! I got it for 4,040. I was thrilled. It needed some priming, lots of spraying to reoxygenate it because it was funky, but it is still great after 30 years. It has an edge to it, so I layer it with other perfumes to settle it down and it smells great.

I will have to look into this some more!! There seem to be a few Avon's that have gone up in price like that, but mostly they go for like $9 etc.. ( that I have seen so far anyway). I will look up Mary Kay on BaseNotes.com and Fragrantica.com. They are the top two fragrance forums and the only two I have checked out so far, but there are more of them. I highly reccommend the perfume reviews on them, and I can't wait to get into the perfume swaps they have. Sounds like a lot of fun!!!
