I think you plug in the controller to this and then that many people can play I cant imagin what else it could be

You should take pictures of the sides so we can least try to guess what it does. It looks so far like it connects to a PS2 based on the end of the cable. The symbol on the top closest to the camera looks like a it's indicating a memory card slot. Just trying to help :)

Alright so I am pretty sure that belongs and connects to a PS2. If you happen to have the Xbox you named it as going to you can compare but I'm pretty sure the slots were oval shaped on the Xbox console itself for controllers and the memory card went straight into the controller.

So if I were you I would change the title of the listing to " Gamestop PS2 multi-tap" and google the multi-tap for info on its function with the added tidbit for the memory card. :)
