This is a great book for tweenage boys who've loved the WIMPY KID novels by Jeff Kinney - I'm a children's librarian and I should know! Plus as mentioned above, I have a 12-year old and he LOVED this book!

OK, it's about LARKIN PACE, a freshman at Arthur C. Weatzel (known more lovingly as Weasel) High School and his writing assignment for the year. So you get to really know Larkin and his family (including his older sister, Kelly, who deserves her own book, in my opinion!).
