Up for auction is this captivating sterling silver ring size 8, stamped 925. The large heart cut rosewood red garnet is beautiful. Sixteen brilliant round cut lemon citrines surround the main stone. Garnet is the birthstone of January and citrine is that of November.

These stones are laboratory created, but their properties, chemical, optical and physical, are identical to that of naturally occurring stones. Man made gems are much hardier than their naturally occurring cousins, not so subject to temperature change, drying out, cracking or grazing.
