Minnesota lakes & pine trees
The Minnesota Territory was created in 1849. No fighting took place in Minnesota during the Civil War, but the state did contribute soldiers to the Union effort. A Sioux uprising in 1862 was caused by a lack of food and money for the reservation inhabitants, as the funds and supplies were diverted to the war effort. The state's economy revolved around lumbering, milling, and wheat farming.....note : all stamps shipped asap and/or with in 7 day close of auction.
