My 6 yr. old daughter's 2nd birthday was Thomas...she is the one who passed down the love to her little brother...they still build tracks through the entire length of my house practically daily! Now however, the Disney Princesses ride the rails or conduct the trains ;)

12inX18in would be my estimate. It is a full size children's backpack. I know it holds all my son's stuff for school: lunchbox, folders, jacket, change of clothes, sneakers, and of course: trains! :)
